Summary:
Provides expert technical leadership in coordinating, facilitating, motivating, and directing efforts of cross-functional program teams and ensures efficient use of team resources. Develops and gains support for program objectives. Documents and monitors program objectives and ensures countermeasures are initiated to correct unfavorable variances. Works with internal and external resources to maintain strong customer relationships with dedication to customer program schedules. Ensures customer and Company requirements are met including cost, quality, timing, and other related aspects of programs. Participates in continuous improvement efforts. Researches, recommends, and initiates implementation of enhancements to products, processes and programs. Performs other duties as necessary and supervises and/or provides work direction to other staff. REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree plus minimum three (3) years of experience with project management including a broad understanding of product development engineering practices, principles, procedures, processes, etc.; or equivalent. Possesses specific knowledge, expertise, and is technically current in product development field. Experience in the automotive industry preferred. Carry out projects, broad in nature, from beginning to end in coordination with internal and external contacts. Strong organizational, project management, and leadership skills to prioritize, coordinate projects, manage conflicting needs, and deal with many issues at one time. Work independently under little or no supervision. Research and recommend new product/process program enhancements and participate in and initiate implementation of continuous improvement processes. Minimum eight years experience in engineering or project/program management; or equivalent with a thorough and complete mastery of respective field. Leadership abilities in managing programs to meet goals (i.e. successful program launch). Work on long-term assignments, broad in nature, using a high level of originality and ingenuity. Develop long-term technical strategies/plans to meet future business needs and growth opportunities. Work independently with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision. Lead and manage several large and complex projects simultaneously. Experience with past project financial responsibilities. Lead and motivate others through support, training, etc. Thoroughly research, recommend, and oversee implementation of new products, materials, processes, etc. and present information. Champions innovative opportunities to expand the organization's current and future business Manage and take responsibility for critical programs based on large sales volume and/or strategic importance. Superior leadership abilities in managing multiple programs to meet goals (quality, cost and delivery of programs) from concept through launch. Experience with managing a broad range of products Experience in WindChill is a plus. MS Project experience is required at a high level of competency. DUTIES :

Ensures efficient use of team resources. Gains support for and develops program objectives/deliverables and ensures all groups involved understand customer demands for successful launch of a program. Objectives include timing, engineering support, internally and externally. Ensures customer and Company requirements are met including cost, quality, timing, and other related aspects of programs. Works with internal and external resources to maintain strong customer relationships with dedication to customer program schedules. Ensures countermeasures are initiated to correct unfavorable variances by communicating alternative measures to the customer which may be used to solve engineering problems. Documents and monitors program objectives by means of open issue lists, milestone reviews, and launch (manufacturing) readiness reviews. Participates in continuous, improvement efforts, Researches, recommends, and initiates implementation of enhancements to products, processes and programs. Performs other duties as necessary for completion of projects and achievement of goals. Supervises and/or provides work direction to other staff. Ensures compliance with all Health, Safety, Environmental policies and ISO 14001 / OHSAS 18008 standards. Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
