Summary:
Analyzes and maintains daily/weekly production schedules and assists in maintenance and system improvements to meet customer shipping requirements and inventory objectives.
Analyzes and coordinates the preassembly production schedule in support of master production schedule.
Work with other staff to maintain supplier minimum and maximum (min/max.
) production levels.
Maintains storage areas and coordinates min/max.
Level requirements with available interior space.
Facilitates inventory accuracy by identifying and initiating actions to reduce errors and assists in corrective action.
REQUIRED SKILLS/
Experience:
1.
Prioritize and work on multiple tasks simultaneously, under the pressure of changing priorities and deadlines.
2.
Operate standard and specialized equipment and systems related to the job.
Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.
3.
Will be 'on-call' for 24/7, third shift operations.
4.
Good communication skills, analytical, and problem-solving skills to work with internal and external contacts.
Ability to sensitively negotiate solutions for customers under time-sensitive, stressful situations.
5.
Associate's degree with two (2) to three (3) years' experience in materials or related field; or five (5) years equivalent experience in lieu of a degree; experience in automotive industry preferred.
6.
Mathematical aptitude to analyze and take direction from data.
7.
Problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills to deal with changing priorities and deadlines.
8.
Understanding of production control techniques and principles.
Knowledge and experience with a formal material control system and Just-In-Time (JIT) concepts, principles, and techniques strongly preferred.
9.
Ability to utilize standard and specialized equipment used to perform job duties (i.
e.
computerized inventory systems).
DUTIES:
Work involves independent decision making on short to moderate-term issues/planning with guidance furnished on unusual matters.
The impact of decisions have a short to immediate impact and involve risk to the organization.
Must make decisions to adjust master schedule due to supply constraints/or production disruptions.

Analyzes and maintains daily/weekly production schedules and assists in maintenance and system improvements for assigned products to meet customer shipping requirements and inventory objectives.
Coordinate prototype and engineering change management for production assembly.
2.
Sequences and distributes visual pull systems used to ensure level production.
3.
Works with other staff to maintain supplier min/max.
Level requirements.
Assumes responsibility for overseeing and managing daily min/max.
Levels as they relate to visual pull system.
Maintains and manages storage areas containing work-in-process (WIP), and inventory.
Coordinates min/max.
Level requirements with available interior space.
4.
Assists in development/improvement of plant material flow, and reduction of inventory levels to increase manufacturing and material movement efficiency (i.
e.
space requirements for WIP, research space needed for new materials.
5.
Performs other duties as necessary in support of business objectives.
May provide back-up support for team members.

$80,000.
