- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance - Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to determine the correct settings and dimensions for each job - Use hand tools, such as calipers and micrometers, to measure and inspect finished parts for accuracy - Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to achieve desired results - Monitor machine operations to ensure quality control standards are met - Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during production - Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area Skills:
- Mechanical knowledge and understanding of machine operations -Set up experience a plus - Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting engineering drawings - Familiarity with hand tools, tooling, and measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers - Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision - Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues This position requires a high level of technical skill and attention to detail.
The successful candidate will have experience operating screw machines, reading blueprints, and using hand tools.
They should also possess strong mechanical knowledge and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
