King Steel Corporation King Steel Corporation Holly, MI Holly, MI Full-time Full-time $18 - $20 an hour $18 - $20 an hour 23 hours ago 23 hours ago 23 hours ago Shipping & Receiving Clerk / Inventory Control General File Duties File all paperwork transactions by Supplier (daily) Clean up any additional or behind filing (monthly) Box paperwork into banker boxes and label accordingly (annually) Receive Material Receive material into computer database (ERP System) Verify Purchase Order's Enter chemistries into system and upload supplier documentation Enter proper quantities and serial numbers Ship material into proper buildings Communicate with suppliers to correct errors or provide missing documentation Process Material Investigate inventory Verify Purchase Order and Shippers Process material within systems:
- Manually calculate scrap rates where applicable- Ensure correct Customers material is used- Merge or split inventory to process properly Communicate with suppliers to correct errors or provide missing documentation Shipping / Rail Create Purchase Orders and part numbers for transloading / storage material Receive inventory Create shippers to move inventory from building to building within system Communicate with suppliers to receive POD and Ship shippers in system Create Sales orders for storage and transload material Load shippers with proper serials (provided by Shipping team) Provide inventory reports for customers when necessary Inventory Merge and Split inventory when necessary Investigate inventory and add detailed notes on inventory in system when necessary KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Knowledge of PLEX Systems is a plus Knowledge of steel and / or manufacturing is a plus High School degree or equivalent Ability to perform basic math skills Microsoft Office suite experience required Advanced problem-solving skills required Excellent attention to detail Ability to multitask effectively Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision Benefits We offer a strong compensation and benefits package after just 60 days which includes Health, Vision, Dental, Life Insurance (with options to purchase additional), Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, 401(k) plus matching, Paid holidays, Vacation schedule (sometimes known as PTO), and much more.
