is hiring a Full-Time Medical Assistant/Medical Receptionist.
Positions are located in Genesee County in the Holly area.
All medical staff will assist the provider to facilitate a safe, and friendly experience for the patient, all while ensuring the highest quality of patient care.
PRIMARY MEDICAL ASSISTANT
Responsibilities:
Room all the patients.
Document the patient's history and reason for the visit.
Obtain the patients vitals.
Assist with the clinical visits as directed by the provider.
Send all medication orders to the pharmacies.
Venipunctures.
Injections.
Contact patients in regards to labs and diagnostic studies.
Maintain the order and cleanliness of all exam rooms and laboratory areas.
Perform routine inventories and replenish medical supplies.
Assist with front desk responsibilities as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
PRIMARY MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST
Responsibilities:
Greet and arrive all patients in a courteous manner.
Ability to handle a high volume of patient calls.
Ensure patients complete the required documentation.
Collect co-pays and balances.
Schedule all appointments.
Handle all referrals.
Scanning and faxing.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year medical office experience.
Basic knowledge of medical terminology.
Experience with insurance billing procedures.
Prior experience with EHR (Allscripts preferred).
Attention to detail.
Well developed time and task management skills.
Professional demeanor a MUST.
Certificate from an accredited program showing completion of Medical Assisting training.
